I'm a bit like you thinking I will have some oddball rare disease. In fact I have had almost nothing, still nothing broken (knocking on some wood over here!).

As for the baby thing, I don't know anything about the disorder but if it doesn't strike until late, how much does it matter. About ms.phd's comment, amnio might be able to detect it but also can cause miscarriages. Before doing her suggestion I would suggest that you give serious thought to if you want to know, and what you would do if the results were positive. Before there's a pregnancy even. YMMV of course.Dharmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15287211332036241240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19348041.post-24473798929712062382007-01-01T11:22:00.000-08:002007-01-01T11:22:00.000-08:00I hope you are feeling better. Very un-PC, I know, so I'm sure the doctors can't officially recommend it, but it's what people did for a while for cystic fibrosis and similar genetic diseases before IVF became so mainstream. Hard to know if that wouldn't be less traumatic than going through the injections and cost of IVF.Ms.PhDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11050354864577547294noreply@blogger.com
